Bench assistance day,
Bench against bands 25kg each,
130 bar weight x3
9 sets of 3 with 140 bar weight so around 190 @ the top pb for theis exercise
Cgbp Larson 1x10 @110/ 1x8@110/1x5@110 / owed 7 reps so 1x7 110 triceps and pecs where on fire found these hard today.
Seated shoulder pin dead press 4x6@75kg set at chin height ......shoulders where on fire after these.
Front and side raise alternate 3x10@12.5 shoulders were so tired by this point couldn't have gone heavier.
Lean back row 1x12@ L14/ 1x12@Lstack/ 1x12@L17
Bench grip tricep press 4x15 L11
YTWL 5reps each 3sets single arm pull lat btw sets 8reps,
Enjoyed today feel worked.also nice to think I have that 190 at lock out hopfully that will translate later on my actual lift.Happy

What strength/type of bands do you use for your bench work mate?

Solid sessions, sounds like that deads not far away.

A definite nice solid day. I got to get back to a gym about once a week. Machines are part of the equation and I have the primate gym kit and kaboodle

Trying to rush things I think,just stay consistent and build on that, bands are 54kg each full stretch I choke them around 52kg dumbells, I used a luggage scale to wieght scale the tension is around 25kg on each side give or take a few grams, they where off my protein as they sold them in pairs cheap compared to alternatives too.

Squats.
Warm up: 60kg 2x10 / 100kg x 10 / 140 x 5/ working sets knee sleeves today
180kg x 3 / 180kg x 5 / 180kg x 10 / 180kg x 5 / 180kg x3 all moved well was surprised needed at least 18 reps so 26 is a bonus:
1x25@140kg wanted to get to 30 but my leg went numb lol
Rdl 3x10@100kg

Leg press 3x15 @280
Leg ext 3x12@l 14
Leg curl 3x12@l8
That was that,had to go and pick the car from the garage,overall happy with that I didnt strain those abductors again,although I may add something in from next week to strenghten them, oh anyone tried edd coans but for squats?how did you get on?

Pmsl yes I felt like a war hero by the time I got to the garage obviously everyone else was oblivious to the hardship had endured, god knows what they thought of my walk,Grin

Bench day
Right a bit of a crappy start as I had to drop the car off again early so ment I had to have breakfast at the gym along with my post workout bits and bobs then waited 45mins before working out felt sleepy by then...

Bar 2x10/60x10/100x5/140x5/ warmed up.
177.5 kg x2 easier than I thought
177.5 kg x2 harder than I thought
177.5 kg x2 into the swing now
177.5 kg x2 best set of the lot,

Floor press dead stop pins
1x5@100kg 5x5@125kg find these very hard but my working sets might have an impact overall
Dumbell press 3x10 @45kg
Bench grip tricep pulldowns, 4x15 @12
YTWL ss with single arm lat pull 3x10 on each

Enjoyable session once I woke up Happy

Looks good make, I like the roller coaster ride that was your bench sets lol. Loads of work done even if you were sleepy.
