Those would be great numbers to hit especially that squat and bench.
I know what you mean about feeling older than your years and I'm not even strong enough to do my body much damage haha.

Haha cheers man! Shame my dead is poor! Haha mine is I think years of not stretching properly. /started now tho so hopefully won't be as injury prone

So today was ment to be a rest day but as its my daughters 1st birthday on friday ive moved my days around.

week 6 day 2
SBD

squats 192.5kg 4x3
easy still tight from yesterday so not as fast as wanted

bench 115kg 6x3
moved like it should

dead 180kg 4x3
again moved as it should

then did some face pulls 4x12

so tomorrow going stretch and foam roll before Thursdays heavy session!
Volume block nearly over then 2 intensity weeks a deload and the comp

Week 6 day 3

Woke up yesterday with very bad lower back pumps; stretched ext last night, woke up this morning and they where worse!
Worked and went to train!
Warmed up and knew something wasn't right
Did my first working rep and re racked the bar as back was in agony!
Thought I'll leave squat and I'll bench
Got the first set done and i knew I had to go home!
In 2015 I cracked 3 disks in my lower back, very small cracks but they where causing my sciatic nerve to get trapped and thought I would have to give up lifting so I played it safe tonight as don't want to be back there!

Still sore now but I am booked in with a physio on Tuesday.

Hopefully it's nothing and just tight from the volume and I can still compete on 18th of June

Thanks mate! TBH it's not been that sore today, think if I had carried on it would have been tho. Will see what my sports masseuse can do on Tuesday. After having a bad back injury before I think it could be me being to causes but would be stupid not to be I think

Week 6 day 4

Spoke to coach and he told me what to do!

Went in and did my recovery squats 5x3 175kg

Only had time for them unfortunately as wasn't planning on doing anything until spoke to him!

Back feels sore but not as sore but I think I did right leaving it on Thursday!
Back in tomoz for squats and bench!

Start of my last mini block till comp

Squats 5x2 @200kg 2nd lightest day of the week!
All moved well and no back pain which is good

Bench 6x2 @135kg again 2nd lightest session of the week!
Used extended pauses on most reps nice and easy!

Went for my physio session this morning and we have found out what the back issue was!
Apparently my hips where uneven coz of my s**te posture and the left side of my lower erectors and glute where getting pulled very tight and that was creating pain in my lower back and hips!
Physio did what they do and apparently she has moved it back and in all fairness back feels alot more free just need to improve posture!

Squats 4x2 212.5kg

Warmed up was good and fast loaded the bar unracked and felt heavier then is should of been, got my set done easy enough! Same on second set then realised it was 217.5kg on the bar lol! Did the other 2 sets at the right weight tho haha

Deads 3x2 @200kg
All moved very well lockout feeling strong

Bench 127.5kg 5x2
Fast and getting good lines! Looking forward to heavy work on Friday

Good to hear you're back in place mate...massages can work wonders! Having a sports massage therapist as a girlfriend helps lol!

Week 7 day 3
Heavy squats and bench!

Squats 2x2 @225kg

Moved very well! Had speed in the first rep hit depth. My planned opener is 220kg for the comp in just over 2 weeks now.

Bench 2x2 @152.5kg
Moved slow but wasn't hard! Hopefully the speed will return next week felt a bit tired from squats! Always pause my bench reps!

All in all I'm looking forward to comp. don't think I'll place but will be close! Shame my deadlift lets me down as after squat and bench I will be up there! Just got to see how the day goes but my comp pbs are 220/160/225 and pb total is 595kg and I'm hoping for 240/165/240 so they should get smashed and my first opponent is me from my last comp!
My coach is a genius and has helped add some big gains over the last few months.
