If Rob created a page on Wiki then it would be deleted under self-promotion rules. If Sugden appears in daily papers/business websites etc (to give a sporting example such as myprotein http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myprotein) then it would be easy for Sugden's legs to stand on wikipedia.

Correct! We added one several years ago but it was removed.

My experience is that you often need to be able to reference some external media articles to be deemed worthy of a listing on Wikipedia. With one of our clients we added a page unsuccessfully, but then tried again and added a link about his appearance at a Treasury Select Committee which the Wikipedia editors were happy with.

I think Carl was the original powerbelly icon, but I lost the image, Aaron's was the first I came across when looking for a replacement. No royalties until the t-shirts and calendars start selling!

I was looking at some of the old images uploaded to the site the other day, some weird stuff on there that has been long forgotten! RIP Tokar. RIP Hayden.

I enjoyed Interstellar, fascinating storyline.

Watched a few on the plane on the way back from holiday recently:

- The Hobbit - 3/5 - thought it was a bit average, although maybe to be expected as they stretched one book into three films
Power BellyPower BellyPower Belly

- American Sniper - 5/5 - really enjoyed this

- Fox Catcher - 3/5 - thought it was a bit of a weird film/story, good acting though

Film reviews on Sugden are traditionally scored out of 5 on the power-belly scale Cool

That brings back many many amazing memories.
Thai, Malay, Vietnamese and the often overloooked Cambodian cuisine are all delightful.

What are Vietnamese and Cambodian like?

Some photos as promised, ate loads of good stuff (Asian and non-Asian).

Hong Kong (L to R) - sliders, chicken quesadillas, sea bass, popcorn ice cream, ribs / shredded pork with egg pancakes, garlic chilli shrimp

Singapore - frog porridge, pearl tea with cocunut jelly, ice kachang with durian sauce, pancakes with kaya filling, coconut rice/egg/chicken/peanuts/green beans

Thailand - sea bass, sliders (lamb, beef, chicken), french toast, shrimp, monkey eating M&Ms after stealing them from our mini-bar, passion fruit / pandan / coconut crème brulee, chicken tacos

My favourite thing was the pandan creme brulee, had this 3 nights at the hotel in Thailand, so good! Also loved kaya jam as I'm a big coconut fan.

I was surprised by how big a sweet tooth they have in Hong Kong and Singapore - little bakeries absolutely everywhere.

Don't think I would try the frog porridge again, the frog was a bit sinewy but where there was a bit of meat it was alright.

Had a great trip and it was nice to try some new stuff.

Happy Birthday, Rick.

Hopping around South East Asia at the moment, the food here is terrific, will post some photos soon.

Ostrich burger with jack daniels flavoured onions and stilton mayo, at the British food festival at Stonyhurst. Not photo worthy but very nice.

My better half had a pint of vimto cider which was surprisingly good.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, glad it's mostly positive!

Jon - you can click the 'Mobile Version' link at the bottom of each page if you fancy a nosey, it will look a bit odd on bigger screens though Happy Don't think there is room for taglines on the little screens sadly!

Rick:
1) The 'Request Desktop' option in Chrome Android works for me, though Dolphin Chrome didn't. What were you trying it on?
2) Do you think per user is the right way to do this? Maybe a cookie per device would be better, if the user changes from default, otherwise you could force yourself onto the wrong version when switching devices if it's based on your user account.
3) I've adjusted the scaling now so the ratio should be better, although obviously they are a fair bit smaller.

Josh - you just need to click the 'View Desktop Site' at the bottom of any page if you don't like it and prefer using the traditional site. Why did you find it difficult out of interest?

I've tweaked the font size in the forum posts down slightly again, but the design elements are supposed to be big in general as this is standard practice with touch sites.

George, the post buttons are at the bottom of all threads, assuming you are logged into the site [click the user icon in the top right corner if not].

Pete, that's right, view new posts is right at the top and also further down.

Macca - tried it on Dolphin on Android and it worked as expected, is that the OS you used?

b_rex - tweaked it down by 0.05 of an em for you Tongue

Building it into Tapatalk would require using their API, so probably a load of work. An app which did things such as showed PMs, had a rep max calculator and had a facility to push a post straight to journal might be a useful alternative.

Not an April fools chaps, mobile site is now live!

Feedback appreciated - particularly want to make sure it's easy to navigate your way around the forum, so let me know if anything seems difficult.

John - I think I'm about 5 years behind on the journal avis! Might have to add the ability to self-upload or remove them. They're not actually on the mobile site to save a bit of space.

Killelay - An app isn't really something I've considered, what sort of functionality would you use it for? Putting the whole forum on one wouldn't really be feasible.
