I agree. You know what the problem is - you suck at singles. There is no logic to it.

Once you conquer your psychological insecurities you will bench 300lbs easily.

Reverse band benching in the power rack !?! Grin

TRICKY RICKY

I think I've implemented that 'take me to the first post I haven't seen and not the last post of the thread' feature that you requested.

And I thought I was weird for eating jaffa cakes during training!

Get Joni to get you onto the old power shrugs if you don't do them already!

Good luck tonight mate, I won't be there due to illness.

Pull a big one.

And if you do any squatting after remember to hit depth.

I don't agree with the school of thought that thinks replacing bench press with dips is a good idea if you want to increase your bench press.

This is especially true if one of the main issues is technique and not strength - as is the case with LGB.

However, I do agree a peaking routine isn't necessary. But, on the other hand, it will prevent LGB from trying 45 every work out Grin

Wow, a lot of pills indeed mate.

Do you take them in a certain order and arrangement much like when you get dressed for school?

Listening to your wardrobe organisation routine on MSN this summer was a rivetting experience!

I like the look of it mate - 90% will be 117.5 for you so that should be an idea weight to get lots of practice at singles in with.

I reckon your form looks pretty similar to mine - so you (like I!) need to get lower with hips, head up more and drive through the legs more.

Good work though mate - and nice one on posting the videos up!

One thing I would say is not to exaggerate pushing your back right back at the end - there's no point as long as your shoulders are back which means youve locked out.

If we're going to have it at the weekend I don't think there's much difference with having it on the Saturday... so I'm fine with that.

Jonny you are more than welcome to join in mate.

Wouldn't worry about it too much Jo - sounds like the boxing is pretty taxing. You looked pretty knackered when you came in.

Maybe you should just do speed bench on Tuesdays and do your heavier pressing at some other point in the week.

And a 50p fine for failing 45 again - this way you won't miss it next time Happy
