good4gains said:If I was to start to train strict over head and bench press on the same day, what's best to start with first bench or over head?? Depends on which is most important to your goals. I do strongman now so I do push press then close grip bench after.

just_t said:Wed 28th Jul 2010 Squat 25x10 80x5 100x5 130x5 Belt on 150x5 170x3 180x3 190x3 200x2 Let out a right ripper on the first rep which made everyone and me laugh. First rep went up nicely. Second was slow as s**t and a hand touched it but I deffo had it the laughing really put me off. Fairly decent overall, still falling over but not as much. May just repeat this next time and go for the 3 Deadlift 125x5 175x5 215x5 Belt on, felt tough DOH! 235x3 First rep off a 2 inch matt, didnt realise it was there. 255x1 This was off the 2 inch matt. Went for a second and got it above the knee cap but was out of position and didnt feel like fighting. 265x1 would have gone 175x3,3 Belt off Looking at my training i need to think of a plan! I like the look of Col austins type work to a high %age then drop back for reps You are a classy lady. Proud of you. Good lifting as well

Thing said:nice breakfast of pills. you following any type of plan? Hoping to stop the ibuprofen soon, pro-plus for the 5am start. Plan is John broz style for push press/squat but with much less frequency(push press 2 a week and squat 3 a week) and regular back work/benching for giggles. I find that it works well for me and keeps my training simple but the volume can be a bit much (hence the 15 sets of triples on the push press), but in a week or 2 the volume usually gives a pb (which i like)
