I find I can train a LOT harder in the winter. I love it when it's freezing outside as I still sweat like a fat cnt. Summer here in 40 degree heat is going to be HORRENDOUS.

Danny - I always presumed you were Spanish. DEFINITELY look Mediterranean.

I asked my gran about my family tree and got back as far as my dad's mum's mum's mum's mum's mum and dad, who came from the island of Lesbos according to her. It didn't affect my life, but it was kinda cool.

We (Turks) also have a tradition of naming kids after their parents, much like Magnusson being the son of Magnus. But I wanna go way back because Turks all have the same f**king name. I'd also like to visit Lesbos.

Blondie wanted to train, so waited for her. She f**ked off and did cardio, so ended up trying to train on my own with a gym full of customers.

Lat pulldown
75kg x 8
80kg x 8
80kg x 7/8

BOR UH Grip
60kg x 5
80kg x 5
100kg x 5
105kg x 5

Deadlifts
170kg x 2

Potential customers came in, and had an epic chat about the creation of life, or about Pilates and gym membership, opening times, closing times, monthly rates....

Planks vs blondie with 12.5kg added. Still beat her. She told me she wanted me to make her hurt, so I bursted out laughing and ended the workout there.

You should hear this s**t the inbreds over here in Cyprus say.
Some "doctor" whose parents are probably brother and sister said:
"If you take protein powder, it increases muscle size. This leads to growth of the heart, and thus causes heart failure". A customer told me and I asked them if, by that theory, chicken, fish, and beef will lead to heart growth and therefore heart failure. Does lifting weights not cause the body shock to grow? Some people need to have their ovaries ripped out from birth.

160kg x 8 shrugs, plus hold

Alternating dumbbell curl
17.5s x 8/8

Straight bar

f**king woman kept talking, wanted me over every 2 seconds. Called me over about 8 times and didn't do anything apart from walk.

I had two MRI's done on the NHS. They tried to send me off for an x-ray for my left knee, then I told them it's not the bone that's the issue, and she reluctantly agreed. What do you have to lose by asking your GP for a referral?

Best of luck getting c**ts to actually pay when their membership is open, or them having the decency to let you know when something is broken instead of hiding it and hoping you never caught them out.

Blondie wanted to train with me despite me telling her NO many times.

Oly shoes and knee sleeves

Squat
Bar x 5
60kg x 5
90kg x 5
110kg x 20, but maybe 18. She stood infront of me, then I told her to move so she went directly behind me. Anyway, they were easy and there's more in the tank. All deep.

Leg press
180kg x 20
160kg x 5
140kg x 5
120kg x 5
100kg x 5
80kg x 5
60kg x 3?
40kg x 3?
20kg x 3?
Nothing on the sled for a difficult 3

Leg curl
3 sets of 10

Leg ext
3 sets of 10

Lunge
25kg per hand, got to 13 paces (just over halfway across the gym) then legs gave up

Vomit x 3

Plan was to do 110kg x 20 then leave it there.

Pikefingers said:Funky I reckon life in the sun and living your dream is also doing you good and probably giving your training a boost.

Itís looking pretty good right now anyway.

Living the dream - 12 hours a day being stuck behind a desk, playing silly games interspersed with hoovering and mopping, cleaning toilets.

I am sleeping consistently and enjoy going out for food. Stress levels are ZERO compared to database management in London. I also spend most of my working time in slippers and joggers. I reckon it's eating like a fat c**t that's doing my training good, plus not having to spend an hour a day walking to and from train stations/work. Having said that, I do enjoy a walk in the "countryside" which is 5 metres from the back of the building.
» Funky Monkey's big smelly log..... (Go to post)08-02-2018 @ 16:22
Bench
50kg x 7
70kg x 7
90kg x 7
110kg x 7
110kg x 7
Electric cut out, so cigarette break
Lights on
110kg x 7
110kg x 7

Supposed to squat later. REALLY need to make some 1.25kg "plates" because squatting 3 times a week, up minimal increments for a single set of 20. This means 15kg per week with 5kg jumps.

Also, training is going well because I'm becoming a fat c**t

Out with a lady, saw they did bacon, egg, chips.

Bacon, egg, chips.
Full seafood platter with chips
Half her food because she "couldn't finish it" but maybe she was being nice. I ungentlemanly ate half her fish, plus chips
Beer.

Eating 2 main courses, followed by dessert, is a regular thing for me. Probably at least once a week, and I find eating 2,000kcals in one sitting an easy thing. I then go home and sleep like a baby.
