Deads to 175kg x 3, cautious with hamstring BOR to 135kg x 7 - stagnated Deads - 5 singles at 135kg, not flying as they should Back squat to 100 x 12 - no sleeves. Had to balance the bar on my back with one hand halfway through to flick the lever open Pullups - 10, 10, 8. Wide, neutral, close grip chins. All dead hang EZ Curls - 40kg plus bar x 6 Bench 90kg x 1 100kg x 1 Had to rush off, no stretch or foam roll. Hips feeling it today (day after) | |||

Nepalese sounds like a more niche market, which is why it's "an expensive Indian". Not surprised by the study linking eating late with obesity - if you cut out eating after 7pm, you're going to be taking in less calories per 24 hours, therefore less likely to be obese! | |||

Did hit an easy 120kg single on bench without sleeves. Tuesday 25th - 110kg x 5 with sleeves DB 45s x 5 grinder Plenty speed pulls with 165, hamstring felt a bit tight so didn't want to push it. Snatch grip, fat gripz etc. Shrugs Deep as heck paused back squats. Almost maxed out on front squat, hamstring felt 100% fine with that. Maybe I can have a bit of a volume day with legs on Friday. | |||

Shoulders didn't like incline bench, so left it once I got to 80kg for a few easy reps Bench - working set 97.5kg x 10, maybe 100kg x 10 was there. Tricep ext - about 4 sets for 10-12 reps Flat db press 30s x 15 40s x easy 8 47.5s x tough 3 or was it 5? Few controlled deadlifts up to 165kg, cautious about hamstring ATG long paused squats for easy singles. No sleeves or squat shoes 55kg 85kg 105kg 115kg for a few singles. Hamstring fine Foam roll, stretches (plus gentle stretch for hamstrings) | |||

Hamstring was fine with these Lat pulldowns 81.5kg x 8 86ish kg x 7 93ish kg x 6-8 Seated rows To stack plus couple of extra kg x 8 Bent rows 50kg db x 8/8 55kg with ez bar x 6-8 per hand Hammer curls, db curl biceps Monkey bars - there and back with 10kg, then there and back no extra weight straight after. Blood blister halfway through, but not too bad. | |||

Getting back on topic - one fig tree pruned back hard, and one cherry tree pruned back hard. Pulled up a few Daikon radishes and celery, made a pickle. Tomato beds got bucketfuls of homemade compost/mulch to encourage more worms. | |||

I got scared and cut my butternut squash off the vine. Left a lot of stem attached. 3kg/6.5lbs from a pure f1 butternut squash. Only had one fruit, but left the one on from the far end of the vine, and used bonemeal too. It's a BEAST and hadn't fully ripened yet. | |||

Tore hamstring playing rounders with work lot. Did get 95kg x 7 bench, absolute max. Next wk went 95 x 8 easy, then 100 x 8 easy. Having shoulder sessions, lats, biceps etc. Yesterday hit 135kg x 6 belted OH bor, plus a ton of other stuff. | |||

Whilst I couldn't find much about him as an academic, he does definitely present himself as a clearly eloquent bloke. Same can be said for Mike Tyson - his vocabulary is definitely on the higher end for athletes. Tuesday 28th - leg day Back squats to 140kg x 8, no belt Leg press - fair few sets Leg curl - few sets Leg ext - few sets Glutes - 2 sets, felt like I was going to pass out. Ate before I left to go to the gym, but still. |
