What I would do if your going to post important messages about your new fed, might be worth running them through a spell check first, I know you have problems with spelling I do to and that's what I do with important correspondents

Edit : Good luck with it by the way, although think people have tried o no avail before

Whilst spellcheck will work with spelling, you might want to check your grammar. "if YOUR going to post important" then the irony of saying that's what you do with important correspondents < Missed out a full stop.

Shame there's no grammar check.

Back to the point - I don't think there's need for another fed.

Donations needed for powerlifter with pancreatic cancer - 3% of all funding for cancer goes to pancreatic cancer, yet it kills most who are diagnosed.

A friend of mine has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer and was given anything up to a year, but this may be less. He's now found out there are treatments in oxford which can get rid of his cancer, but it's £6,000 a treatment and he may need more than one.

There is a raw competition to be held at Genesis Gym in Alperton, West London on 21st January.

I am trying to raise awareness of the cancer, the competition and I am going to see if anyone wants to donate via paypal as a gift (can't sort out justgiving)

PM me if you'd like to donate, he's a powerlifter and it'd be good for everyone to get together when one of our lot needs us....

Edit - mods - sticky?

The lady who works for financial ombudsman service (getting people the money they're owed or telling them they're not entitled to it) says speak to the office of fair trading or trading standards. Or citizens advice bureau.
Worst case scenario is you don't get money back but can report the company. Get watchdog on the case is my advice. But i'm not a professional.
» The power of Instant Gravy (Go to post)01-11-2011 @ 12:22
Just made a potnoodle type thingy and added gravy granules to thicken it up.
I'll also add gravy to stews/casseroles, shepherds pie, maybe lasagne.

I made my own the other day, but couldn't be bothered to shape them into patties so made a meatloaf instead.

500g turkey mince
1 packet of parsley, finely chopped
1 large onion, finely diced and softened in some olive oil
1 egg
2-3 slices of bread, chopped into small breadcrumbs and added until the whole lot is not gloopy
handful of mushrooms, finely diced
ketchup
lea and perrins
black pepper
salt

Find a spouse from the gym - problem sorted. Mine is pretty supportive, food, diet, training, competitions, all the other stuff that comes with powerlifting. She's not a lifter at all, just one of those who trains to keep fit and make sure she can eat what she likes without gaining weight.
