It doesn't look to flawed vs some of the suggested routines I have witnessed. 85-95% is optimal training for strength and it delves into these zones for more than a single two out of three weeks so it would have an effective uses as a micro meso cycle, potentially for a short peak. | |||

Theoretically and certainly shown in many sources of research high carbohydrate diets with moderate proteins and low to low-moderate fats are optimal for athletes. This said however given the way many aspiring strongmen and powerlifters train which quite frankly is lazy I can see how it would be of little use having such high dietary carbohydrate. | |||
