For young kids bodyweight work is just fine. There is no reason to add in any extra weight as you're more likely to cause injury or encourage bad form. It's more than likely the kid wants to get bigger because he's met a few gigantors with full beards at 13 years old, and he's still smaller. Couldn't hurt to explain to him that he's going to grow just like the others.

the technical aspect of you oly lifts has improved really quickly which has helped you there. Also, Time heals or something. Oh and one in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Was a bit f**ked up here, I flattened out somewhat and the bar was low.
