Deadlift with just the belt.

Warm up to 140kg.

170kg X 5
190kg X 3
210kg X 3 Rep PB
220kg X 2 Another big rep PB, both reps were clean but on the second rep I felt like my back was rounding a bit, still great session on the deadlifts tonight.

Bent Over Rows.

120kg X 4 sets of 5

Farmers Hold.

100kg per hand for 25 secs, 30 secs then 25 secs again. Grip is still probably my biggest weaknes but improving slowly. Also no torn calluses today which makes a nice change.

Absolutely shattered now but very happy with tonights lifting.

Strict Pressing tonight,

Strict Press,
Warm ups to 40kg

50kg X 5
60kg X 4 sets of 5

Circus Dumbell,
30kg X 4 sets of 6 on either arm.

Close Grip Bench,
90kg X 4 sets of 5

Tried log briefly but I injured my thumb playing rugby and this was really hurting it so gave up pretty quickly.

Viking Press,
60kg X 4 sets of 10, all pretty strict.

Quite a poor session tonight, everything felt heavy and my energy levels were pretty low, I suppose every session can't be great and I'll just have to come back to it next week.

Yeah, there was only me and 2 other guys confirmed for it so they had to cancel, just have to concentrate on Dumfries now.

Front Squats again today.

Front Squat:

warm up till 80kg

95kg X 5
110kg X 3
125kg X 5

Overhead Squats:
60kg X 4 sets of 8

Deadlifts:

worked up to a big new PB of 240kg in my new suit. Got the suit today for a comp I was due to compete in a week on Saturday which was subsequently cancelled due to lack of numbers but thought I might as well try it out anyway. Found it quite awkward at first but got the hang of it and hit 240kg fairly comfortably so rather pleased with the days lifting.

You sir, are obscenely strong. I love the fact that playing around for you includes benching 210kg and 160kg for 11. Awesome strength and all the best for your next comp.
