I'll be in. Probably 11-12ish, so I'm likely to still be there when you arrive.

Probably as much as I ever was Happy. I don't think dropping bodyweight will hurt anything except my bench, temporarily and not too much, and it should improve my Wilks.

Friday 5/1

Deadlifts 60x8, 100x3, 120x1, 140x1, 160x1x5. All nice and fast and easy and solid.

Narrow-grip pulldowns 70x8, 91x10x2

Assisted chins -15x3x2

25 minutes elliptical, 15 stretching. It's good to be back on the cardio horse.

I have some out friends. But than I don't, myself, tend to use this phrasing, so I can't answer the other question.

Judging from the way schoolkids use the word, I think it's basically shifted meaning in a lot of contexts - just as it did however many years ago when the community first appropriated it. I don't use it that way, but then I'm old.

I like rob, but not enough to let him hurt himself playing with my cock.

Or is that not what you meant?

(Edit: I think this must be the "banter" I've heard about elsewhere Wink)

Alex's *is* a good one.

My recent one: stiff and sore back after leaning over slightly to pick up a pill (I think it was a fish oil one).

Yeah, it's very low. Are you leaking?

Unless I injure myself masturbating tonight, or something, yeah.

Seeya tomorrow Happy.

I should be so lucky.

Joni - I'm thinking in terms of shooting for 110, and then seeing how I look and feel at that point. That may be modified. As ever, my main goal is to be happy.

That makes me and Dan looking to hit 110 coming down, and you looking for it going up - and I think that was roughly Roberto's target too. It's a popular number...

BTW, I was thinking about your goal - probably the best way of looking at it from 104@21% is that you need to gain 9kg of muscle and lose 3kg of fat for 110@17. That looks to me more appealing than the trading in 4 and a bit kg to make 17 at your current weight.

I'm not gonna offer to race you, coz you've got a head start - but we should both be a lot trimmer by the NW unequipped...

What is it with oly lifters and Amsterdam? If I ever go I'm taking my autograph book and will be expecting to see Dimas and Rezazadeh (and maybe FP) in the first whore-house I walk past. Grin

How many do you expect to walk into before you walk past one?

Forgot to mention - as well as seeing joni, adam, jo, alex (in passing as I left and he arrived) and several non-board regulars, I also had lots of chat with, scrutinised squats for, and spotted on bench my favourite person to spot on bench Happy.

Tuesday 2/1

Bit of a mixed session to start back.

Squat Goblet bwx5, 30x5, 50x5, Barbell 60x5, 80x5, 100x5x3

All the sets were very easy, but I was absolutely f**ked at the end. My legs were sore, too. Ten days off when I'm working is very different to ten days off sitting in a chair eating lots Happy.

Bench 20x8, 60x5, 80x3 (all paused), 100x8x2. Nice and smooth and easy.

Wide Pulldowns 70x8, 84x10x2.

Wide Seated Rows 91x10x2.

Ten minutes of stretching and home, knackered.

In very good news, both my back and my knees felt great. I am beginning to wonder if the back trouble I had over Christmas was some sort of adhesion from a previous pull letting go - I feel like I've got freer motion in the lower back and hips than I've had for months.

I'm not saying it's bad for anybody else's knees. Just, sadly, mine.

When you weigh 120kg, running is definitely not going to do your knees any good, that's for sure.

More like 130, mate. But when the knee trouble (and shin splints) first developed, I was under 90kg. Just too many years of basketball on unsprung floors in crappy shoes (and, probably, a hereditary weakness - my mother's knees, like mine, have always been very noisy, and she's never done any sort of sport).
