second session of deadlifts and squats tonight
deadlift was not bad

60 * 5
80 * 5
90 * 5
110 * 3
130 * 3
140 * 3
150 * 3

squats was again not my strong point,

shoudl have been a third set of 100 but legs still dont like squats and knew the second it was out the rack it was not going to come back up!

not a bad night though, soldier on!

good session tonight. first time proper deadlift and squats away from that horrible smith contraption!! went up to 90 trying to sort out my form on squats, lots to do!!!! Then pleased myself and Martin Flett with a 182.5kg dead lift. was maybe a little left in the tank but was getting ugly to watch!

very happy with the session got a lot of work to do to sort out form on squats

i do more than bench just at the moment i struggle to find time to update this other than after bench sessions. Dead lift, over head press, cleans, squats(occasionally for now)and such like

but tonight was "singles night" in the garage of power! sounds worse than it really was!

with mirror gazers and accidents waiting to happen.

well last thursday was a disaster due to warming up then doing 2 singles with 95kg then on the 3rd it stuck to me with an unknown pain in my right shoulder so finished up with a couple of sets of 60kg.

Tonight was an improvement.

well was a cracking bench session tonight! PB-a-thon!!!

felt good tonight apart from some sore sides from saturday!
was going to start my reps after warm up on 87.5 but thought will go for 90 and see how it goes.

had a week gap between sessions this week( no training last thursday) i think it did me good after feeling minor twinge in shoulder after my introduction to a bench shirt!

well after warm up tonight did 20 * 85kg. should have been 5 sets of 4 but first two sets got out 5 then two sets of four. worked out well for an easy double finish(sounds like a game of darts)

well had a couple of good bench sessions recently and PB at 95 but feeling good about it.

Also started doing some pressing with Axel press, Log press and concrete block press!
Enjoying every minute of it and keen to get stuck into it all.(learned the easy way that during block press you DO NOT rest it on your head to adjust your grip, the easy way being watching someone else do it!)

Also tonight tried my first bench shirt on. snug fit. big difference and a totally different ball game altogether! Definitely a new meaning to getting "ripped"!!!

progress is good all in though!

P.S - Anyone looking to offload a Log for pressing from there collection Let me know!

Cracking session tonight!

After failing 90 last session and sticking to 87.5 i was determined to get 90 up at least once tonight.

turns out i put up 90 then 95. then we all dropped weight and went for reps than weight.

overall delighted with tonights results good numbers with 75kg
