at your level i think you could make a a lot of gains with something simple like strong lifts 5x5 or starting strength linear progression

having your feet pointing more forward about 5-10 degrees will create more hip torque and should help with knee stability

Edit: your lacking hip flexion and external rotation. once your have more hip flexibility your knees will just naturally track out to the sides and inline with your second/third toes

minibig1 said:Half the stuff in this thread is a load of bulls**t. He was a fat 180kg as a teenager, then cut to a shredded 115kg and deadlifted 360, then bulks back up and deadlifts 410kg easily, does an easy 175kg incline bench for 11 reps, seated presses 170kg paused with ease and squatted 340 without really training it, then goes and does a circuit style show for a laugh last minute without training and does very well within the rules and posts a status online praising strongmen for ther efforts when he didnt need to and people still criticise. I can understand why people wouldn't like his personality but if one of the big strongmen like loz or terry or ed or someone did something like this and kipped a few pullups everyone would be up ther arse

exactly. you said it best. he did it last minute for a laugh. for those critiscising why not try strapping 70kg to you and see if you can do 15 kipping pull ups

You can keep making little digs and it doesn't matter. 1 you dont have to watch them and 2 posting a few vids as part of my sponsorship deal which enables me to not have to work, I dont think that makes me silly does it
And just to be clear all the uk strongmen have a huge amount of respect for z for what hes achieved. He is practically hero worshipped by his fellow competitors

everyone who watches the videos as fans love to see new videos anyway its great to get a look at your training. it must take you 5 minutes to upload a video I'm sure it doesn't bother you and you don't mind the good feedback you get off them

tore his groin so didn't deadlift heavy.

i was really impressed with the nice squat technique coming from an spf geared background!

be good to see some other westside elite fts guys do some proper lifting and good squats and ditch the gear.

thanks mate this is the exact same as what I have been thinking I struggle to replicate this technique in the kit I lack the confidence setting up the heavier weights and sitting back into the suit I have got my hands on some loose briefs to start squatting in and trying to drill this tech with heavier weights before putting the full suit on again
when ever i go in full kit its asif my tech just crumbles knees go forward and back rounds

i find even just knee wraps really makes me go forwards with my knees and throw me off

i just don't get geared lifting. I'm glad its dying out. if your max bench is 170 what business do you have with 220 from what I've seen of shirted benching just looks dangerous, really uncomfortable and uncontrolled let alone having the shirt rip.
