You could contact Citizens Advice they may have some info on the subject but as mentioned before my friend is currently receiving a medical etc for the accident he was in and he was uninsured. He got 8 points and a 700 fine for no insurance but solicitors told him he could claim it was one of these companies that you see advertised across the tv, also the other driver admitted liabilty for the accident which is why its gone in his favour.

If theres no damage and no witnesses deny all liabilty

He can claim even if he aint insured.

I know of a person that has done this, the solicitor told him even though he was not insured it doesnt give the driver of the other vehicle the right to crash into him.

If there is no damage to the vehicle i doubt he would claim and if he doesnt have insurance im not sure he would want to risk police involvment which could lead to a costly fine and points.

» Your 2012 in Review (Go to post)17-12-2012 @ 20:06
2012 was the year i started training for strongman, roughly around August / September time.

Competed in my first comp (MuscleInc Strongman Summerslam)

Was in a head on car crash that put me out for a couple weeks

Found out my girlfriend is currently expecting our first chid together (a little boyGrin )

Moved to a new gym ready for the start of the new year to compete and go as far as i can in strongman.
