Jon, as you are a C2 expert rower and I'm a C2 non expert rower could I arrange a return to the shed for a coaching session in the near future. I'm hoping that I'm doing something massively wrong that you can put right and give me a 20% increase straight off, or I may just be s**t. I suspect the truth is in the middle somewhere, but where? I don't know.

JW, I have a few more times to be last on.
100m 18.8
500m 2:02.5
5000m 23:53.9
10k 48:31.7
30:00 6,205m

Going to arrange for some training from an expert C2 rower in the near future so hoping to take these mutha's down over the winter. Peg in the ground and all that. As Captain Sensible said "If you don't have a dream, how you going to have a dream come true?".

My 2021 goal is to be last by less distance.

He probably told me Will and I don’t recall. His bird may have been in the car. I think this was pre 2018.

There’s a Charis Louka on IG, and SHE won Miss Cypress 2014.

Boat chick?

I bought all his rubber weights off him. Chinese things of some description. Never seen them before and don’t know where he got them from. China maybe. He dropped them off at my house. I only hope he didn’t die on the return trip (or even at all).

On the plus side the weights are still going strong. Hope he’s ok and the crash was a non crash.

Ace. I make finish last on 6 of them up to now. I'm all about progress so I'll look to finish last on more of them. Until then cop a load of this.
500m 2:02.5
1000m 4:18.4
2000m 9:26.7
5000m 23:53.9
10,000m 49:19.8
30min 6120m

I also did a 21,000m in 1:53:43.7 Feels like it was ages ago, but was actually last month. I don't know what this means but it must mean something.

Are you back on a bike again mate? Hope you are pal ive been back on mine for last 3 and a bit years all over the shop, been over europe a couple of times Scotland Ireland bloody love it, we'll have to meet up for a ride Wink

Good thanks mate. More spastic than devious, but still like a the laughs.

Think I'm 3 - 4 years into my reborn biking life. After a 24 year layoff and having an RD350 I went out and got an X11. I have to plan my rides in detail as am blind as a bat after twilight so need to be looking to park up or I have to use the force. #blindasabat I've only come off it once and I was actually stationary. Cocked my leg over and got my jeans stuck in the pegs on the opposite side. Straight over. See what I mean. Spastic.

Are there lower limits on these leader boards or what lads? I'm having a look and I'm certain I can make last place on at least a few of these. Maybe more if I try hard. Am I Aloud in?

I'm not sure what the risks are Wayne to be honest so couldn't give you any facts on the subject. Facts seem hard to come by at the moment Unhappy

my prediction is no 2nd wave and wu flu pushed to the back of human consciousness in november by whatever madness lies in the final act of 2020.

I expressed a similar view at the back end of last week to a scientist friend who isn't a million miles outside of SAGE and he assured me that I had it wrong and that I should be concerned and play things safe. Next breath he tells me he's going away on holiday with his wife and kid. He's heavily obese and life long asthmatic. The mind boggles.

WILLSAN said:was away in north norfolk last week. pretty much zero social distancing in the coastal towns and beaches. masks in shops was the only sign that wu flu was a thing.

oddly the majority of mask wearers outside shops were teens. im guessing as a fashion statement rather than a safety precuation.

there was a covid testing point in a car park in hunstanton every day. never saw a single person getting tested.

I've read that obesity is a massive factor (obviously not the only one) in a person's ability to do well against CV19 or not, and again that there is a thing known as 'quarantine 15' that relates to the time and weight gain of a sizeable % of the population. It's hard work trying to understand people, but I'm leaning towards 'the population as a whole don't seem that bothered' Confused
