I have more going on than i thought i would this year and current plan is to hold this exact same comp with same events for 2015 as i simply don't have the time at the moment. If this changes i will be only taking entrants later on in the year but i expect it will be 2015 starting from jan 1st. I will get a better computer and set the website up beforehand.

Can i enter this competition yet ??

Fantastic innovative idea, I just can`t wait

Mr Pila

I am a small man and i dont want to fight you so i will choose my words carefully

What is going on with your deadlift lockout ? It looks like it needs lots of work compared to your other lifts and even the first half of your deadlift

It looks like an injury waiting to happen and your bicep might end up snapped up ?

Bulls**t . People are not only those who use steroids and those who drink and smoke. There are a lot of people who want to live a healthy life . Healthy life does not include steroid and suplement use .
Athletes can achieve great things without using them .

If i die of cardiac arrest and someone finds my stash of porn they would swear i died from furiously beating my sausage !

Id prefer if the paper just says -Cardiac Arrest- though !

Well no i don't want to run 'just any comp'. Otherwise i wouldnt have bothered to put any thought into it, annouced the events straight off with a lot detailed rules etc
Yes very different. The last idea clearly had no appeal.

Youve had 6 weeks now to put this fantastic tournament together.

How do i enter ?

How an Egyptian Weightlifter should have access to the following email is slightly strange but anyhow -

DISCUSS !

Dear Member

By the time this reaches you, you will have been notified about yet another token uprising, this time by a group that seems to have formed an alliance with those responsible for attempting to rob us of the Team Trophy in Latvia. It is only frustrating that these disloyal factions couldn’t ever find as much energy when it was actually badly needed to fight for its country’s rights or to take its National federation forward instead of attempt to split it apart. Where were they then? Remember that it was the BPC that delivered the World -beating team that represents this country today; it was this executive committee that crafted the team that has lifted the World Team Trophy for an unprecedented 3 consecutive years. Most importantly, it is still the BPC that represents your best interests in powerlifting today and will continue to take you forward.

We have been made aware that some of you will have received an unofficial invite to the WPC Worlds without even qualifying, some without even having lifted beyond novice level. Be aware that these invites have nothing to do with the BPC and have not been sent out by your executive committee. Obviously, the penny dropped a little faster with the more experienced lifters, who questioned the legitimacy or even true achievement of qualifying for a major international event without even yet qualifying for your own National Championships.

We are also aware that a letter loaded with technical inaccuracies and outright lies has been circulated by a certain member of the WPC and that this has likely misleadingly emboldened this small breakaway group to let their team mates down so badly and stab an executive committee in the back that has allowed them to profit so freely off the back of their success without penalty, -not even the sanction fee that their predecessors once had to pay.

Because this letter will become the subject of swift legal recourse, I am not at liberty to expand too much on this dismal behaviour other than to say that I am extremely disappointed in those involved, particularly since they know what the truth really is and have teamed up in an action that prejudices their own nation. Trust me; you will all know what the truth is soon enough. However, please do not be concerned by this issue, the BPC is still going from strength to strength and, due to recent developments, our lifters can anticipate greater prospects than ever on the horizon.

Unfortunately, as they say, idle hands do the devil’s work, these guys have absolutely nothing but time on their hands. If you get a call from one of the individuals who are obsessively phoning around like irritating double glazing salesmen, please contact us if you are confused or have any concerns. Otherwise, I will see many of you at The BodyPower Expo, -the biggest event in the British Powerlifting calendar by far and a qualifier for the British Powerlifting Championships. A full calendar of events will follow, hopefully addressing any questions you may have about our future direction.

Brian Batcheldor - President, BPC

Before you all start, I know I'm a DICK for not saying anything more but I just had to blurt out something at least

Grin

I am also bringing in a local sports physio company for the day, they will have a tent and beds on site to treat the athletes between events if needed. Have a meeting with them tomorrow to sort more out with them

REEBOK !!!
