Steve said:Also for each lifter who tests positive a Country is allowed to take one less lifter to Internationals the following year and if 4 or more fail test then the whole Country can be banned from Internationals. As Martin said it is not just an individual thing and many people can be adversely effected.

Shouldn't be a problem GBPF never send a full squad anyhow... But I see what your saying, they couldn't even if they wanted to and someone could miss out.

So seeings as how these hybrids seem to be f**king s**t. And prone to punctures. I think I'll just get a £60 piece of s**t bike from sports direct and lob it in the canal when it breaks (in about a week).

That's the problem when it comes to bikes you have to buy a decent one and the ride will be decent and you'll actually want to use it!

I nearly always use 2nd class stamps.

Ideas please.

I cycle to work. 13miles each way saves me a few quid in petrol, downside is I spend more on food (cake mostly)

Really? Learn something new every day. I've not been keeping up with the rules of late I've moved on to 'proper' sports Wink

Lets not get carried away now. Leg drive keeps you tight and will help at the begining, same with lats. Its is still the pressing muscles doing vast majority of the work.

I think it doesn't matter if your IPF lifter (feet flat) or other fed, gym rat whatever the best statagie is to pull your feet as far back as you can and push your knees open. Someone said it makes them unstable, work on your core?

My missus has it every night with chocolate Casein. I must admit tastes s**t hot. Aldi do it cheap for a 500g tub and it's fat free, for those of you that are concerned about expanding waist lines Happy

Slight downward movement on his left hand? It looked good from where I was stood. After the comp the centre ref was fuming that the decision had been over ruled and even went into the warm up area and apologiesed to Wegiera. It was a good lift, worst were past over the week.

the finale of the 93kg class was pretty exciting unlike the rest!!! the 105 second group where nearly all the guys bombed was not a good watch nor a good advert for shirted benching

Yh because of the price of plane tickets! It's far cheaper to travel home on a Saturday for some reason? When your skint and you've already pumped over £500 into the trip I wanted to keep costs down.

Ader said:Difficult from the angle, but I personally like to have my shoulders more over the bar at the start - If you start in a deadlift position with shoulder almost behind the bar then you have to move the bar forward at the start to get round your knees and that starts off a forward movement. This is probably the cause of your hips coming up to quickly compared to your shoulders causing you to lose the back angle too I reckon. Though you do correct it as the bar gets to your knees but this probably causes some rotational issues that would likely become more apparent with more weight!

I agree finishing the pull should help too as it looks to me that you start to dip under the bar too early and at that point your arms are still very straight ... they need to bend more imo during that stage - keeping your arms straight at that point causes too much rotation (you away from the bar and the bar away from you)- Finish the pull and keep the bar close to your body as you dip under - Your elbows have to bend at this point to do this - Arms straight on the pull is good but they then they need to bend.

Have you tried snatches off blocks? That could help as it's an exercise that really forces you to finish the pull and keep the bar close (the arms bent bit).

Banging post! X2

At the start get your shoulders future over the bar and start the pull slow and imagine your speed like a whip. Slow at 1st getting faster with a real hard crack at the end. This is your hips coming through.

If your shoulders are back at the start, deadlift position the bar will come out infront.
