Or he could go a step further and set his foot on fire. That would really demonstrate mental toughness

That's probably because you idiots keep saying boiling, i meant kettle boiled, which have said bunch of times before, an for f**ks sake, why pick apart every little fault in anything i say then turn it into something i never said? You may as well just say it yourself instead

I suppose telling people to go put their hands into warm water wouldn't have had the same ring to it, eh?

In all seriousness, I'd love to know what is going on the savage's mind when he purposefully boils his hand day after day

Bench
Warmup
102 8x4
Definitely the toughest session so far, all this volume and frequency has caught up to me.

Squat (no belt or sleeves)
40x8
80x5
110x3
130x1
150x1
160x1 - very tough
140x6
Wasn't used to going beltless, core felt quite weak. Did lateral raises and rotator cuff work between sets.

Deadlift (1" deficit no belt or straps)
70x5
110x5
140x5
170x5
Remove deficit
190x1
205x0

I feel like an idiot, definitely shouldn't have gone for 205. Got it above my knees then held it there for a good 3 seconds, unable to lock it out. My goal is to hit 500lbs + by the end of the year so I was thinking of running the ed coan deadlift routine, starting next month with a 230 projected max. Thoughts anyone? Anyway, I won't be going heavy on any lift again until I'm finished with smolov. I need to smarten up a bit I think, and just continue to focus on bench for the time being.

Counting cards can, and does, get people killed.
I have played poker in casino's and studied other (true) forms of gambling. The only house game you can consistently win over time on (without counting cards) is roulette. I formulated a system and won over 40k in play money over a number of months on an online casino wheel, however i then lost over 13 thousand of it and became more skeptical on if it was sustainable. I ran a test of 10 billion spins (yes billion) using an advanced calculator / generator of sorts and the results were that my theory was, at least in those spins, very true, however it shown that the system was not sustainable indefinately. I have no way of knowing if the online wheel worked the same as the test but i decided that with the money it took to run the system, it would be too much of a risk to try it in real money.

This made me lol

Shoulders felt very tight today so did a bunch of rotator cuff work on the cable machine. Feels better now. Also did half an hour of cardio on the stationary bike.

Bench
Warmup
96 7x5
Not as easy as last time, feel like the ultra frequent benching is starting to catch up to me. Shoulders & chest are very tight.

Chin-ups
BW 2x5
+20x8
+30x5
+15x11
Felt great, strongest I've ever been on these.

Log press
Warmup
80x2 - failed 3rd rep
80x4 - better
Add belt
65 3x6 strict
Pretty good, especially after doing so much benching.

Hammer curls
23.5's x25
16.5's x10 strict & supinating
Form got very sloppy on the hammer curls, but I got a mega forearm pump so it was still obviously working my arms.

Reverse dumbbell flies
13.5's 3x12
