I'm by no means a huge or massively guy- but I know guys at my gym who look a *lot* leaner than me but scan/BodPod measurements have their BF% only a couple of % lower than mine. This could be erroneous measuring of course, but one if the things I noticed with these guys is that my flab tends to sit on my gut/chest (and I end up with amusingly slightly vascular arms and legs) whereas they are walking arijnd with their flab much better distributed so having/nearly having 6 packs at similar BF %. Always assumed it was me having low natural test or something which caused this, but having never checked it's impossible to know. That being said, I would be very surprised if low test was an issue for Shaw and Thor...

Seeing that - think he would have had it reasonably easily suited.

Thor's 474 was ridiculous. Think Shaw will edge that and take the win, as I imagine Thor will try hit the 500kg and fail. Hope to be wrong though!
» Do you shop at Budgens? (Go to post) | 25-02-2019 @ 22:19
I shop for most of my food at Sainsbury's as it's pretty convenient for me. But I have reliably been informed that I get my bench from Budgens. I also believe that the gym wall says that I do my big shop there, and that I am, in fact an 'Angus Wrangler'

Went to Edinburgh on the weekend, ate a buttload of meat and had a bit to drink, as a result didn't do any exercise on Sat/Sun. Monday: Deadlift 5x5x185 beltless - think I might have tweaked something in my back on my 4th set. Didn't feel quite right. Standing Strict press 5x5x62.5 3x Superset (8 pullups/8 rollouts) 3x superset (7 Cable hammer curls (65)/15 Cable overhead extensions (40))

Didn't train on Thursday/Friday last week, as played rugby on Saturday. Opposite man had probably 10 stone on me, so naturally was a in a fair chunk of pain on Sun/Monday. Ended up working until 9pm on Tuesday which meant I wasn't home before gym shut. Wednesday: Squat 5x5x145, BP 5x5x100 (I think i've aggravated something in my shoulder playing rugby, perhaps rotator cuff, so kept the weight low) 3x (10 Seated row (190)//45s Plank) 3x (7 Pushdowns (65)//15 Nautilus curls(70)) Thursday 3.7km run, finished it in 19m 30s. Need to increase distance.

matthewvc said: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_during_consensual_sex The funniest part of this, is that Jack had no idea who I was until I told hm at the gym. This precipitated, in an odd fashion, a discussion about how he has been doing a log for 11 years. And how this would likely be about 2500km long by now and have required him to constantly eat at a rate of 1cm of food per second for that entire time.

Post Edited: 05.03.2018 @ 23:14 PM by NickW 5/3/18Deadlift - worked up to 5x5x180. Very comfortable and didn't use a belt. Bench 5x5x100 - surprisingly no shoulder pain Superset 8 chins/8 rollouts 3 sets Superset 7 cable curls/15 overhead cable extensions 3 sets Thinking about investing in an SBD belt as got some birthday money - anyone have any thoughts? Not a bad session, suffering from doms pretty bad so deads being easy was quite a surprise. |
