Brick Lane food market is great - stalls selling food from every country imaginable, easy on the pocket too.

One million curry houses in and around there too, at the higher end of those is Dishoom. Very good food and restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing.

Brixton Village Market it great - loads of different little independent restaurants - only problem is picking which one you want to eat in.

If your going with your Mrs, then you could splash out a bit and book into City Social (ive only had a drink there, but it is very nice) or the Heron Tower (Duck and Waffle is boss)

Apologies for the hijack, im sure Cuddles will offer his input too.
EDIT: There's a good dim sum place in Covent Garden called (I think) Ping Pong.

Thanks a lot man x

Made a curry. Beef, sweet potato, kale, mushrooms. Paste of mint, parsley (I don't like coriander, it's too soapy and over used), ginger, chilli, onion, lime, palm sugar, peanut butter. With coconut milk

A bit like a thia satay thing. Was good. Cashews and boiled egg to garnish

Anyway. Much like smalls. I'd be interested to hear suggestions for London, going shortly for a week, staying clarkenwell road.

Would be really interested in great niche places, thia noodle bars or burger places etc
» have you ever been stuck in a lift? (Go to post)28-07-2014 @ 23:20
I was once in bed with an ex (but not ex at that time) about 9 am on a sat morning

House phone went and woke me. Dazed I wandered to the front room to answer

Me 'hello'

Her 'I'm stuck in the lift'

Me 'what'

Her 'I'm stuck in the lift, come get me out'

Me 'what....who are you?.....you've called a flat, a private residence'

Her 'well I'm in a shopping centre and the lift jammed so I pressed the buzzer and it called you automatically'

Me 'but I was in bed'

Her 'so I'm in a lift. Sort it out'

Me 'no I'm off back to bed'

2 mins later the phone rings

MMe ' hello'

Her 'I'm stuck in a lift'

you made the choice before to take it, that choice included not competing in tested feds for 10 years - life (depending on fed)

it was your decision, regret it by all means but the only person at fault is yourself

If your giving your foot a few days. Go to your gp. As someone who works in a+e I can tell you we would all dislike you for the visit with a few week old injury

Even if it's broken. It isn't an emergency

If you have a stroke or your heart stops. Pop round

That's kind of you to say. I do often read if not post.

Tonight was slow cooked sausages in stock with a huge amount of onions. Thus making onion gravy by the time all was ready

And a big bowl of veg soup which had pretty much all root veg in it

A bit mish mash but tasty

Tomorrow will be better. Already got 1.5kg of beef marinating in coconut cream, herbs chilli garlic etc. It will be cooked down with lots of onion and tomato to make a light rogan Josh style affair. With roasted sweet potato

I'm a firm believer in eating all (inc offal etc) of the 'standard' animals (pork, beef, chicken and lamb) plus game when in season. With that selection I don't look elsewhere. I've eaten a few 'odd' animals and always wish I'd just eaten something normal

The reason we eat a load of pork is because it's delicious, crocodile can suck my balls

A friend does. He's the kind of guy who would take care of them even if used

Adidas Power Perfect II, 18 or so months old, UK size 10, used for about 9 months 3 times a week. In reasonably good nick. No box. Can email a picture if anyone wants £50

Had to be quick so went to pure gym. Very little if any rest

Belt less Sq on a bent bar box less too which I haven't done for a while

Doubles 60/60/80/100/100/120/120/130/130/140

So I felt strong but pure made that s**t as expected. The rest was good fun though

Shrug 60/100/130/160/180x10

Db shrug 36s/36x3

kb snatch 16x10 each arm
Turn about
Kb swing 2x16x10. 3 sets each

Made a point of attacking these. Really exploding and really decelerating

Machine curl 10x5 (back to skwats and curlz)
