The mistake you've made there is assuming that you would have to ask her in the first place Grin

Wednesday 15th September 2010 - Squat and Deadlifts @ Ralls

Full of cold, but pissed off with it!

Squats
  • bar x 10
  • bar x 10
  • 75kg x 10
  • 110kg x 8
  • 150kg x 5
  • 170kg x 5
  • 200kg x 1
  • 210kg x 8 - PB

Happy with these but my legs felt good for 10 reps, I just seemed to run out of breath. I must have messed my breathing up and I was very light headed on the last rep Eek

  • 180kg x 5 - Speed Work (with loose wraps)

Deadlift

    From blocks
  • 75kg x 10
  • 125kg x 8
  • 175kg x 5
  • 205kg x 3
  • 225kg x 3
  • 255kg x 3

For the 1st time since doing deadlifts from blocks, I actually felt comfortable and in some sort of groove.
The triple for 255kg was easy and I had at least another 2 reps in me - the last time I did this I only just got 3 reps by the skin of my teeth.

    From the floor
  • 175kg x 5 - Speed Work

Good solid session tonight, with some massive lifting going on all around. Also had no pain in my groin when squatting or in my pelvis when deadlifting Cool

p.s. Bonus video of Dave Carter just missing a 360 14" deadlift by nearly falling over Happy

They are slightly different in their levels of amylopectin

Waxy Starch obtained from varieties of maize consisting wholly or largely (99%) of amylopectin, compared with ordinary maize starch with 26% amylose and 74% amylopectin.

In the real world though, this makes no difference to the end result. There is plenty of info on the net if you can be arsed reading it all.
I used waxy maize for about 1 year before switching and can't say that I notice any difference Happy
