Shahlaei Second Behind Poundstone at Giants Live

1st June 2010 - Posted by Rob Laurence Shahlaei further cemented his growing status as a real WSM title contender by being narrowly pushed into second place at Giants Live by American Derek Poundstone.

Shahlaei went into the final event (atlas stones) leading by half a point but Poundstone placed above him to secure the win with 63.5 points versus Shahlaei's 62 points.

The top three finish means that Shahlaie, along with Poundstone and Arsjo, have all secured qualifaction for the next Worlds Strongest Man competition. For full results view the full article below.
