Really pissed off tonight.

been doing well and at a point where 100kg on the lat pull-down just isnt enough. (sets of 10)

got told that adding dumbells to the stack would "damage" the stackRoll-Eyes Roll-Eyes

even though ive been doing it for 2weeks and i dont "crash" the weights nor has the cable stretched/snapped.

seems some people dont like bigger lads in the gym pushing themselves........

rant off. and I will be leaving that gym.

VanillaGorilla said:No. With no experience you'll be looking at 8-10 an hour depending where you are. I've done it for 5 years on and off. It's s**t, not worth it, and I hate it.

Knobs you have to work with.....or knobs coming past the door?

I think it was mate but it went on. We had Prefects. 13 year old kids who wore a special couloured tie, and if they caught you doing something wrong they handed out punishments.
One of the worst was 'changes'. Go to the changing room on a break time and get changed into your PE kit, report to them, get back into your uniform, report to them. This could go on for ages, over many many breaks depending on how many changes you got. If you didn't do them, the headmaster was informed, and up to the office you went for the cane. It was better to get the cane than changes imo lol.

Thats a forces thing used as punishment. also called "quick changes" in the forces the cane would be a physical beasting instead.

the bloke was on a power trip and enjoyed it i feel.

When i was at school i was a little sod one time. the teacher whacked me so hard i pissed myself as I was so frightened. I was about 6.

YOU were a school child not a infantry recruit.
