thinking about attempts.
want to be more aggressive with openers - euros i pretty much wasted first attempts doing warmup weights.
in fact after my bench opener the spotter jokingly said "put some weight on the bar"

if next 2 weeks I can double 270-275 on squat and triple north of 182.5 on bench
will open with these: 260-185-270

Shoulders 3 rounds of front/side/rear with reasonably heavy (8 rpe) for 10-12 reps.

Face pulls 2 x 12

Elbow still sore wore some XL 'Giants' sleeves Andy bolton kindly donated me - helped keep it under control without adding any spring to lift - going to have to play it by ear a bit on Monday was hoping to triple 180+ - will cane the ibuprofen and see what happens

230 was very comfy and quick
In Earl's Court next weekend so will pay soho gym a visit and do a similar wrapped pause single with 250kg

Bench ralls
Elbow still a mess
100 x 3,120x3,140x3,160x3,
180 x 2 - abort 3rd rep too much pain now
120 x 3, 110 x 3 - more pain

Pulldowns few sets

Easily a triple there but elbow pain is debilitating. If I can get myself pretty pain free still think 200kg is on - going to do something I know is bad long term and see about getting a corticosteroid injection into joint to mask pain and kill swelling for comp.

thanks. Training at Ralls with so many accomplished and experienced lifters has been a real boost to performance.

No not me - there's a youngish blonde haired guy called Charlie who smacks a few of us on the back prior to a heavy attempt - possibly him. Really helps you focus despite knocking me flying on my last DL attempt LOL

192.5x1, PB still comfy but elbow niggling

Light assistance

Delts front/side/facepulls
3 sets x 12-20 done in circuit

Hammer curls and preacher curls
3 sets 8-15 reps

Elbow still sore but marginally better than last week - didnt do 2nd bench session on Friday to help it recover and tonight I dosed up on solpadiene and ibuprofen. Aim was to go as heavy as what I'd want as a 2nd attempt if elbow held up and it did with a nice PB that always knew I had in me fully fit. Soreness is there now but nothing like last week. now got nearly 2 weeks to recover and hopefully give 200kg+ a ride

275kg squat was easy. No trouble at all moving that. A couple of lighter sessions now and then the fun of making weight for 100kg
