Went and did a couple of mile run tonight didn't find it to bad considering I did a leg session yesterday roll on Brecon beacons in march.

Cheers mate, felt rough today with the man flu today so glad to get all work done, bench goes heavy from Monday should be hitting some new rep pbs in the next few weeks and that magic 200 bench

Can't see any reason why not matey 75% or just over for 36 reps comfy must be there or more,in my world lol Embarassed know you have it !!!

These next 3 weeks will be interesting got 170kg 4x4 180kg 3x3 190kg 2x2 and then 1 rep max attempt all of these will be rep pbs

Lol that would scare the s**t out of me Eek but if I'm ever going to hit that magic 200 il have to do it one day too if I get that far Eek

It’s the 180kg for reps is my usual stumbling block I hope this time round things go a little better.

You have in you bud I think you need to work a bit on keeping your butt on the bench especially if you start competing as they will fail you in that every time.

Was supposed to do 170kg 4x4 today first set went ok did the first 3 reps like it was nothing and 4th rep was like someone chucked another 20kg a side couldn’t get the thing off my chest
2nd set was horrendous it was like I had never benched before but still managed another 3 reps some how, called it there and go again Monday.
Dropped the weight and did
152.5kg 6 x 2

Single arm shoulder press
4x8 increase weight each set

Barbell front raise
35kg 3x12

Lat raise on cable machine
3x12

Face pull
3x12-15

Disappointing session on bench today just one of those days I guess hopefully Monday is a better day

Yeah I’m sure that’s it, just annoying as Monday was such a good session was hoping to carry it on but hopefully I’ll do it on Monday fingers crossed. Yeah ok deadlifts I’m half way through ed coans program and for squats I’m doing this kinda power building program, numbers are slowly building up, I think when my bench program is done I’ll drop that back to twice a week and up the squats and deadlift concentrate on those for a while, how’s your training going?
