Down sets felt easier. Only thing that felt good was inclines today. Weight 88.8kg | ||

Bench was rather harder than I'd hoped. Benching twice a week is hard ATM. At least weight has stabilised. 88.4kg this morning | ||

Squat reps were slow with plenty of rest but good form. Deadlift the same. Strange that bench has turned to s**t but squat and deadlift have held up reasonably well. Weight this morning 88.0kg. Whilst I am teaching 20 hours a week my weight is not going to increase much however much I eat, so I had better get used to it in the short term at least. | ||

My top end strength ATM is RUBBISH! A double@160 was on the limit. However, the paused squats, while hard, were OK. I hadn't expected to get 3 sets. It's getting close to using a belt again. I've got 3-4 weeks not teaching from next week, and the plan is to put a bit of the weight back on I've lost over the summer, and pushing the weights again. Weight this morning 88.5kg | ||

I lost a lot of weight over the summer after getting a new job, and since then my lifting has been crap. Now ridiculous as it sounds I can't put it back on, so my sessions have been a little bit frustrating. | ||

Squat was just a warm up and technical practice for how to squat in a belt again. Deadlift max out was definitely at the high end of expectations atm. Sumo at the end was actually not as horrendously bad as expected, though technique was awful. Weight this morning 88.3kg | ||
