Haha I didn't mean normal guy he's obviously mongstrong, I meant he wasn't born and built like someone like Brian shaw so it shows you guys who are more 'normal sizing' can become freaks. I know he's a unit now at 130kg but I bet he wouldn't be more than 100kg if he didn't train, where as someone like shaw probably would be like 150kg naturally without training due to his stature. It's not an insult it's a compliment for all you hixxy fans getting upset

Shaw would not be 150kgs if he didn't train unless he was an American lard ass. He wasn't 150 when he first hit the world stage (I think)

Loading race - Thor , SHaw , Terry , Z
Overhead - Z , Shaw , Burke , Edd
Kegg toss - Z , Shaw , Thor , Burke
Truck pull - THor , Therry , Z , Shaw
Squat - Z , Edd , Loz ,Brant , Shaw
Stones - Thor , Shaw , Z , Terry

This is roughly what I'm thinking

hopefully the squat will not be a 60 sec time limit, need 90 secs so everyone is going till they can't get more reps rather than fastest squatter wins (which would probably be loz?)

On a good day he should make top 4 on CDB and truck pull, but squat isn't his strongest event.
I'm sure he will be in top 3.

Surely on a good day Thor wins truck pull?

Forgive me but isn't this a complete waste if a course?

Training twice a week? Light weights?

Imo you aren't going to end up even nearly strong enough training like that, providing you make weight

look at the u90 training logs on here, those wouldn't be warm up weights

stuart yule is a great example, and he is natty buddy

You should be taking advantage of this period, training lots, and getting stronger, not barely training and not getting stronger

Extreme periods of sitting has screwed my back up a bit, but last night I got home early (9.30 lol) so had time to stretch. Feel loads better today but not good enough to do what I wanted so took it easy

Hang power clean
100kg for 3, 3, 2

Power clean
100kg for 1, 1

Paused front squats
100kg for 2, 2, 2

Paused squats
100kg for 2, 2

The squats actually felt great, well sore, but something had loosened up and I was getting as good position as I ever get at the bottom, this has not been the case in recent months

some curl and press

Strong!

The log at the qual will be a different kettle of fish as its on a near vertical board, but perhaps luke will actually be able to push cherrie

I hope so
