» Your 2012 in Review (Go to post)18-12-2012 @ 12:01
Started the year at 160sq/135bench/200dl, in June I got to 200sq/150bench/230dl

Been ill a couple of times since then and motivation has gone down, the best I've done in the last few months is 170/140/220 - marginally better than 12 months ago but I'm not happy with it.

Struggling with numbers I've repped earlier this year is depressing and doesn't help with the motivation!

I use email a lot and ive had my email for about 9 years ..

My question is this .,

I'm f**king pissed the f**k off with all this pissing junk that gets into my inbox !! It f**ks me off !!

Is there a way of stopping it or at least stopping the ones that email me now so next time it goes in junk ! What does this flag do ?

Give me a clue

I would suggest the following:

  • Setup a new email address using gmail (much better spam filtering)
  • Set your current email address to auto-forward to your gmail address
  • Phase out your old one slowly, login every so often so the account doesnt get closed
  • profit

Interesting. Does Anusol work as well?

I believe that it's only certain formulations of PrepH (canadian?) that do this, some ingredient differences

Jelly nutrition: http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/#/asda-compare-prices/desserts/...

The high protein is from gelatine, which is 98% protein by weight already, but not great nutritionally compared other protein sources because of the amino acid profile

295 kg of them.

£1 a kg if some one takes the lot. f**king bargain of the century.

Will throw in my old faithful farmers as a an added bonus.

Are the plates mostly 20/25s? If they are I'll take those for £295, can collect Saturday afternoon (about 2 hours drive from stockport, probably a lot slower on the way back)

Let me know, i'll PM my phone number.

Cheers.

hey, I did the conans stuff with you on Saturday.

Got some nice bruised forearms developing - good decision after 45 minutes of deadlifts!

» Log Press vs Shoulder Press (Go to post)12-06-2011 @ 20:15
Just so everyone can sleep soundly, I went down on Saturday morning and tried the logs.

I managed the 70kg log with 10kg on for an easy 80kg - so I'm on target for the comp, it did feel like a lot more tricep involvement than from doing barbell press, maybe i just have weak triceps

On the other events, I struggled with the 90kg farmers walks (lifting was fine, i just didnt get very far!) so i'll have to work on that over the next 5 weeks.

Tyre flipping will also need some work - if anyone is going to be down there this week that wouldn't mind giving me a hand with technique, let me know.

Thanks
