Wow ! At that level of carbs i was goin over 20 stone !!
AvatarNamonster
Lol. I'm 17.5/18 stone just now. I'm going along what Mr Griff was saying but not as much i.e. 7g per kilo of bodyweight.

I couldn't handle getting much fatter just now.

I honestly haven't a clue. I eat every couple of hours and then a bit more just to make sure.

Normally wash most meals down with a pint of milk. I doubt I ever get less than 4k in cals and rarely go over 6-7k. No idea of the breakdown of those cals though.

maybe up to 200g of protein a day at the moment, one shake, couple protein bars. on a diet so more of the protein has to come from these lame sources instead of food Unhappy

Wow, what a very expensive and pointless way to get your carbs.

Unless you train like one of these of course

loosing lard and strength increasing so must be doing something right
Avatarbuzz
About 100-120g protein, and about 500g carbs a day.

f**k all TBH

I eat what I want whether it has protein in it or not

Only my evening meal is very high in protein

Give up giving a f**k about protein intake a long time ago

interesting, thats a low cal intake for a big boy like you. But then again, the lard wont disappear on its own!

What I am on about is your body can't use that much protien for muscle recovery, the rest will be used as energy - and as protien rich food is more expensive than its carb based counterpart you are basically paying more for carbs.

As the pic suggest have the carbs required and stop training like the animal picutred - the Sloth
Then your belly won't grow so muchGrin

Not really low per-say - as Carl will probably be the first to admit he isn't solid muscle - yet!
Provided he has enough fuel for his training - whcih given he seems to have upped the ante he has and he is getting stronger so muscle breakdown is probably non existant then he is doing it right.

I just eat stuff I like. I do eat a fair amount of high protein food but thats more down to it tasting good than anything else. Happy
