Weird session tonight, I felt like f**king off home when I missed a double 190 on bench and then missing a treble on 180. Stuck with it though and did some pretty decent sets after. Back to work from tomorrow so I'll be back to my normal routine again.

You need 2 weeks off bench mate,still train chest but do some db work then start a rep cycle at 140 and work up.

I might just do that depending how I train Thursday. I've never really taken it easy on bench, just kept hammering it at 90 - 95% for 5's and 3's, it seems to have worked in the past. I have been doing some pretty brutal work on it recently though and I seem to be suffering now, a change / rest might be good.

A lot happier with benching tonight, back in a routine of better sleeping and eating seems to have made the difference.

I know what you mean, I always feel pushed for time, you can add an extra bench set without it taking too long though. For example if you were just to add a few warm up sets then into 6 - 8 sets of 5 reps at 70 - 75% then you should be able to do it with only about a minute rest between each set. total time about 10 minutes and you've added a pretty solid bench set to your week.

Nice deads and strong squatting, 260 x 3 should give you more than 270 now though..maybe 280+ I reckon
