nice back workout, f**ked me over but felt good. Following the deadlifts from my routine.

Deadlift (80%): 1x2 @ 175 kg
Speed deadlift (65%): 8x3 @ 142.5 kg (90 sec rest b/w sets) - feels good doing these

after this I did some bent over rows - 70,80,90x10. supersetted with pullups

Bicep curls: 40x10, 50x8, 60x5, 50x8,40x15,30x15

Practised some weightlifting- 80kg power clean, 50kg snatch

Back and front squats - 70,80 x 10

anddd FIN

That was yesterday

Today i did some speed bench up to 65kgx10

shoulder press
40x10
50x10 (2 push)
60x8
40x10

dips
w/25kgx8
w/20kgx8
w/20kgx5
w/15kgx8
w/15kgx8
EASY felt good

Core to finish

Good couple of workouts. Doing well considering ive pretty much doubled the volume.

not worth the bollocking although i enjoy the occasional shower piss.

Never do it in anyone elses house though. have a fear of the drain breaking and piss being everywhere.

Its been a while! i've been away in austrailia but did manage to find a gym and train for maintenance for a few weeks. The place was full of wa**ers looking at themselves in the mirror, and a guy who strutted round in a belt and did not much else except laps of the gym.

ive also had a lot of work on since ive come back due to my PT and GP referral course needing to be finished before i go away again to Kos (Thursday)

Although i havent posted in years i have managed to keep my training fairly consistent. One thing i have noticed though is that in doing 5 reps and below for pretty much the whole year my fitness has gone s**t!

So over the past few weeks ive upped my reps to between 10 and 8. Not gonna lie its f**king killing me. Last few workouts my lifts have been

squat - 90x10 (managed 100 for 8 aswell)
bench - 70x10
bent over row - 80x10 and 90x8
cg bench - 60x10
dips w/20kg x 10 (multiple sets EASYY)

As for deadlifts rather than doing more reps ive been doing speed reps which ive taken from the coan 10 week routine (based on 200-220)

last sets i did were

165x2
132.5x3x8 with 90 secs rest (killer but felt goood)

also kept up with the weightlifting although due to work i havent been able to get down to the club. Currently an 80kg C&J and managed a 50kg snatch. Need to keep practising with that one!

im going to kos to work for the summer and lets face it, training isnt gonna go great but i am determined to find a gym. Being on holiday though im afraid its going to be more maintenence and powerbuilding rather then trying to get PB's

If youve gotten this far well done on reading my essay. Uni in september is when the hard work really starts and i'll be training my ass off (hopefully)

Another good session today. More snatch practice and narrowly missed a 100kg power clean, All of the WL movements are beginning to feel more natural.

todays workout went well. bit of WL drills flollowed by some CG bench then some power cleans and core to finish
CG bench
40x5
50x5
60x5
70x5
70x4
65x5
60x5

More WL tech, heres a vid of my 80kg power clean. I'm sure the technique is awful and i apologise about the camera angle (blame my brother) but i would like some constructive criticism if possible...

also some vids from other workouts (sorry about toplessness my garage is like a sauna on sunny days)

Heres a snatch (i really dont start the lift low enough) But apart from that how is it?

and heres a 90kg front squat (legs were fairly f**ked by this point)...

Very new to the weightlifing as you can probably tell Happy

How did the 90kg front squat feel?

painful haha, im getting better at holding it though. The actual movement feels more natural than a back squat though so with a bit of work on technique i think i could actually get some decent weight on it!

back squats and front squats went well

back

90x5
100x3
120x1
130x1

front
60x5
70x3
80x3
90x1
120 - 3 second hold
