Thanks for the encouragement. Looking back, I've made some progress again that I didn't really see before I looked. Happiest with my deadlifts.

Wednesday Climbing

Went to the quarry and spent a good hour and a half to two hours on the wall which was incredibly wet. Trying the wall in my walking boots was pretty much a no go because of the plantlife slime but I used some scarpa rock climbing shoes I'd borrowed and they held the rock immensely. I covered plenty of traversing and tried new methods of getting from place to place. Even though it was really cold and really wet, I had a brilliant time out there.
Elbows are feeling it a bit now.

Went in with Martin nice and early. 3:30pm.

Front squats:

Went under the bar, lifted my 80kg set off and banged out 3 reps. I decided that 3 reps was enough for today and I switched to back squats. Gonna miss out the front squats for a couple of weeks now. They just aren't feeling right.

Back squats:
3 sets of 10 reps with 100kg
1 walkout and half squat with 150kg

Video is of the last set where the form starts to disintegrate. Maybe this was a little too heavy for me?

Deadlift:
1 set of 4 reps at 150kg

Chins:
6 sets of 4reps with 45 seconds rest in between.

Seated Dumbell Press:
3 sets of 8 reps with 20kg dumbells

(when I competed in wrestling at 155lbs, I used to use the 20kg bells for high rep sets of 20 plus reps.)

Dumbell side raises:
3 sets of 8 reps with 7.5kg bells

Bicep Curls (LOL)
1 set of 8 reps with 12.5kg bells
1 set of 7 reps with 12.5kg bells
1 set of 6 reps with 12.5kg bells

Conclusion
I think I'll give the fronties a miss for a little while. They just seem far to heavy on my core for just now.
Climbing tomorrow. If the cliffs are too wet, I'll do a light sandbag session or sprint session instead.

Also, witnessed a woman benching 130 or 135 for a single today. Pretty amazing stuff. Awesomely strong chick.

Very strong back squats. You must be looking for a new PB soon with those numbers.

Great post Travis. That cheered me right up Happy
I eat McDonalds once a week, so margarine doesn't really bother me much whether it's plastic, biological or dog s**te.

Started off misty but dry. Ended up sunny.
Went climbing for a few hours in the quarry and managed traverses I've never managed before. I'm now at the point where I could link some of the routes up to make one massive traversing route.

Fingers were tender after the session but I defo improved a lot. My fingers are becoming much stronger and my legs and back still give me absolutely no trouble at all in movement. My posture is feeling rock solid these days also. No shakes, no lactic buildup.

Very happy with my performance yesterday.

Listen to you guys going on about your 5x5 with 30 and 40 extra.
I'd just like to do 5x5s with any weight added on! haha
Well done man, that's some impressive chinning.

Nearly everyone had a s**te day yesterday Ross. I think we'll all hope it was just one of those days. The palace seems to be very like that. Nearly everyone seems to feel strong or weak at the same time. Maybe those bas***d managers in there have a gravity button that they play around with or something just to keep us on our toes.
