Face pulls are awesome. I remember when i was stressed and my back tightened into knots. Face pulls were them there lads that made the muscles stop being sore. Glorious.

Also... wiege often uses the phrase "heavy duty" very apt indeed especially on this log, However! Am i the only one who reads it as "Dutty" as in " pauls log press has got that dutty stank"

Competed at Englands yesterday

MAx log did 150 and 160 but couldnt press 170, need to sort my life out on this as I should easily be putting 180 up on the log atleast. probably tied 8th ish

Tire flip
Quite light but fairly easy, just wasnt quick enough placing my hands, 5th place all very close times

Deadlift
been feeling crap recently and no change today, did 300-315-330 then strapped on for 345 and gave it a pull but didnt come up, fastest through 3 reps I think, 5th I think

Sandbags
super easy event but just a bit too slow, my srpints in between were crap. Annoying though only 3 bags over 15 metres, would be nice if they tested conditioning a bit, 4th or 5th again lots of people very close on time

Pole push
up against Chris Morgan in first round, had a good start but then just gave up the ghost, didnt have much motivation left.

7th overall. Log needs sorting but I know what to do, need to rest my hamstring up as well cos my deadlift is still at about 90%. Gonna get on a new programme and sort all my weaknesses out. Should be winning this comp easy.

Team Comp Saturday, did crap, came 3rd. I dont like team comps at all haha having other people to rely on is not my thing. Only good thing is that my tire flip has improved massively
