AKA the great reset Member 4056, 5206 posts | Definitely pick Thor next year. His press and truck pull were the highlights for me. Ed done well too with an injury. Not the best final I've seen, if I'm being honest. Missed seeing Z there. Would loved to have seen him hit the barbell for double figures. | ||

I'm not saying they need to show everyone in everything but when you only feature the guy who was 3rd going into the last event, and looking like providing a huge shock, on just one or two events then something is wrong. | ||

I don't think Terry is top 10 in the world anymore, Radz has only made the final once in WSM and I've no idea how good Lalas is at the moment. I think the final had decent depth. Probably top 10 guys in the world over the last 12 months has been Z, Shaw, Thor, Ed, Loz, Arsjo, Caron, Kieliszkowski, Janashia and probably Radz even though he under performs at WSM. So that's 7 out of the top 10 guys in one event. And even Licis, Szymanski and Belsak are still all probably in the next 5 or 6. | ||

Hopefully he'll be fit this year as the commentator said something worrying in the heats like he has a serious back problem and has been told not to lift... then proceeds to grind reps out on the car deaf lift. I noticed on a few other events he tends to abuse his back to help get the weights up. Barbell press in the final for example. He doesn't have the power belly to use as a shelf to rest the bar on so has to lean right back. | ||
