Plenty of resistance levels, soft on the wheels and rock solid. It gives a little buss when you use it and I didn't like using it in my flat but now I'm in my cottage I'm hella happy with it.What I REALLY want though is one of these. Very VERY silent and just PIMP AS f**k. http://i1.adis.ws/i/washford/638134?$pd_zoom$ Problem is, I'm not a millionaire.

Walk your talk Member 5, 25558 posts Administrator | 'trainer road' seems to be gaining popularity and looks to be the next big thing in indoor cycle training , im gonna presume the Tacx I vortex would be compatable ,so i would love one !! mine is a basic magnetic resistance tacx and it does a fine job

What price range we talking here? This for the money is very tempting... But if there is a better one for cheap or one that's a lot better for a but more then I would be stupid not to get it From what I can see we have heart rate cadence and power also which I haven't saw on all the others... Having used the watt bike as part of a series of tests this week I am 50/50 power distribution so am happy to use total power am no longer concerned about any unilateral bias The kickr doesn't seem as good but then I haven't looked properly potentially With the I vortex as an aside I can preprogram the changes in resistance which (lazy I know) I bonus

Are horror films healthy...? Member 5449, 2203 posts | I have a beastly mountain bike... It's a Scott thing... For me it's awesome and I rode it from Manchester to blackpool If there were no roads I would not mind getting around on it no problem whatsoever

And a new road bike isnt far away. If you aren't physically injured and are still able to train and compete them your compensation won't really add to much

Eat.Cycle.Sleep.Win Member 2, 12511 posts SQ 190, BP 150, DL 280620.0 kgs @ 99kgs UnEq Administrator | If money were no object I would definitely have a wahoo kickr - I wouldn't even think about it, I've heard and read nothing but good things. Sadly, money is an object and if I'm being honest, I think a lot of the crap thats on turbos is to try and nullify and distract from the pain/boredom of using one. I don't really mind the pain or boredom so to me, it's all a waste of money. I'd much rather have a 'decent enough to do the job, but still cheap' turbo. Something like the elite that weige mentions. If I were going to spend more, it would be on a kurt kinetic rock and roll (probably). But I'd much rather spend £2-300 less and put that towards a Garmin Vector S or a new set of wheels. All you really want from a turbo is a solid base, enough resistance, and a smooth power curve. You can get that for £200.
