Under i would say in some competitions. I Malta WSM 09 he was big and very very shredded.
Just take a look:

Hes basically saying Z was too strong and even if he had won stones Z must have been fourth
and nothing could be done at this point.

Coming second that year was one of his best feats.

He was written off before it and still managed to get second in a heavy comp, against a fantastic line up.

Pudz was a guy that definitely grabbed the moment and performed great under pressure.

I'm sure he tore his bicep in the march of that year too and hardly had any time to prepare.

That's right and placed second in his heat. Pudz was awesome at Wsm.

FYI.

BBC Have updated to inc plane pull and 210k stone lifting.

You just got to keep on top of the 'fake news' people...

Next they will be telling us we have always been run by Tories and there is no alternative (ref: DR Who last nightWink )

I said:Carrying 2 fridges apparently Wayne!
I have sent this to the moderators of the BBC as a matter of urgency:
Well done on running the Ed Hall worlds strongest man story.
However, no fridges were carried...not since the 1970s! and the stones went a lot heavier than 160k.
events were:
vikking press Ed won that event
Deadlift 1 rep max - Ed won this
Squat Ed won that one as well
Tyre flip
Plane pull
Atlas stones up to 200kg I think...
Hope this helps
