I think he went for a 985 total and missed 345.
Awesome for the big guy to squat 400.
If he can get his bench to 250 in comp? I think he would get 1000.

Tore my hamstring on my squat opener - nearly missed it as a result! This unfortunately made deads a huge ask and my leg drive on bench was wank as a result too. Still it felt great to inch my total up and finally squat 400kg too.

400kg and a pb is fantastic. Baby Shaw always tears the hammy.
In all seriousness, if injury free you will hit 1000 soon.
You got some stick for depth on a previous record. That 400 was awesome.
Fair play to you. You have become a cracking lifter

400 squat is crazy!! I've watched it a few times.
No chance you where going to fail that when you had it on your back.
1000 will definitely go.

Very strong looking squat there Sam.
Depth looks much better than I've seen from you previously.
Hope the leg heals up soon so you can get back to chasing that 1000kg total.

great to see, not a shred of doubt, depth-wise in that lift. if you're doing 400kg like that babying a hamstring then you're good for 420kg+ fit.
and update your squat on here btw '385'... opener s**t now sam.
