Jenkins was one of my favourite strongmen - 185x5 standing strict press. Dude was like a real life superhero! The health issues he had in China may well have contributed to his passing. So sad either way.

Yeah I think he might've been mine bar Terry. Would be up there competing for the title now if he was still about.

Oh, yeah, the dehydration is a killer. A 150kg dude can lose 15kg in a matter of days!

Reminds me of Mike Jenkins losing 20kg at WSM 2013 in China, food poisoning and the weather ruined him. He looked awful going into the stones in his heat.

I think there's an issue at the moment with PTs in that with fitness coming into fashion recently a lot of lads who've done a few months in the gym take a fancy to it and do an online 6 week course with covers very little (a lot of health and safety etc, not so much actual training methods) and then call themselves a PT.

I agree that there should be a more strict set of criteria to call yourself a PT,for whatever aspect you wish to specialise in. I have a mate who is a PT, he enjoys a bit of lifting but isn't in great shape of anything, however he has absolutely fantastic knowledge of anatomy, posture, rehab etc.

Similar to some of the American footballers numbers. Guys claiming 600lb benches when he's basically bounced it off his chest and 3 guys have caught it on the way back up. No doubt they're strong, just not that strong.

Mark Henry holds the biggest super total ever as well doesn't he? Although I'd imagine Mishas gym numbers should've got somewhere near that.

I always wonder what he might have achieved had he not done this, I'd imagine he's far better off financially this way though so I can't blame him.

Yeah The Big Show doesn't seem to do a lot of training, he's just big enough to manhandle people anyway. He's said that he has no shame in being weaker than Mark Henry.

I once read an interest account of a backstage armwrestling competition. Brock Lesnar smashed everyone, The Big Show and Mark Henry included, but lost to Kane. He said arm wrestling Kane was like trying to pull a tree out of the ground.

Did poundstone do as heavy as 100kg? Sure I saw a video of something ridiculous like that.

Depends how big a star you are. Cena and Brock don't look very natural. Triple H as well.

Yeah I'd agree with this. No one is testing The Rock when he turns up either.

There's also the 'wellness policy' to adhere to. They've clamped down on gear supposedly. Hence why the average wrestler now is much smaller than the 80s-90s guys.

I would like to see him win it
I think he will go WWE or movies once he retires from strongman.

As strongmen go he's a good talker. He'd probably do alright in the WWE, it would just be all the travelling around the world with a family at home that could be off putting.

I think I'd be pleased with being a top 2500ish deadlifter in the uk. Better put some work in.

You are correct and they were both horrible Tongue I think I could do 240x20 but it wouldn't be easy, I'd do it for 250 quid though anyone fancy a bet?

Well I think you'd do it so no chance I'm taking that one. Good luck though, I'd add a sick bucket stipulation in there somewhere haha.

If anyone was going to get close I'd bet on Unit94, he's got the fitness for it. Pulled body weight for 50 odd I think and squated 200 for 20 I think. Beast.

Yeah that's what I had hoped for. I'd love to put 3 plates above my head any way possible. Might have to get back into it.
